2. The Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail takes place at three locations, with the abundant variety of exhibits at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Hotels within walking distance of the Miami Beach Convention Center are plentiful. The sail only part of the Miami International Boat Show is Strictly Sail, with the latest in beautiful sailboats and related accessories, is located at Miamarina at Bayside (which is also a great place for shopping and dining), just across the bay from Miami Beach. The third location for the Miami Boat Show features fantastic in water displays of powerboats at the Sea Isle Marina & Yachting Center on North Bayshore Drive.
3. The weather for the Miami Boat Show could be warm and balmy or cold and blustery. If you are traveling to Miami to stay at a hotel for the Boat Show, be sure to bring sunscreen, shorts and a short sleeve shirt, as well as a warm coat and gloves. If it´s warm and balmy, you can leave your warm coat in your hotel room while you enjoy the Boat Show. If usually balmy Miami has a February cold snap during Miami Boat Show week, you´ll be glad you have a warm coat and gloves as you enjoy strolling the sidewalks of South Beach.
4. Parking with shuttle service to the Miami Beach Convention Center, the Sea Isle Marina & Yachting Center, and the Miamarina at Bayside is available, and it is an easy walk from many Miami Beach hotels to the Boat Show at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
5. During Miami Boat Show week, there will be plenty of special events to enjoy, as well as Miami´s many sports attractions. Within a few minutes of your Miami Boat Show hotel room, you can take a fishing charter or rent a sailboat at one of Miami´s many marinas. Take an exciting airboat ride through the Florida Everglades. Or enjoy one of the numerous beautiful golf courses.
